It’s no big surprise that I’m a huge fan of any product from Orange Mud. They’ve been my goto brand for my hydration needs for the last 3 years, and I’ve also enjoyed their none hydration products, such as their transition towel. Unfortunately mine was lost in between moves and I was thrilled when an opportunity came out to not only test it, but to test their newer version.

Let’s go over the general info about this towel. It’s so simple in design and thought, yet so functional that I don’t understand how I ever survived without it. It’s your basic towel, newer version is actually a super soft and absorbent microfiber material, that has part of zippered, and another part with a hook, and loops on the opposite end.

Like I said… simple, yet effective.

I personally enjoyed using this towel to change my bottoms quickly when going from run to spin class as I prefer shorts for running, and leggings for spin class. It was super easy to slip this on and pull on and off my bottoms as needed without worrying about flashing someone. I will say that I feel as if the hooks did not stay as tight as they did with the older version, but I still had completely privacy… but wish I had a tighter fit for more peace of mind.

But the towel isn’t just for changing… it’s great for just keeping your seats clean. I’m not a trail runner so I don’t have to deal with the usual mud that comes along with a great time out on the trail (even though this product would be perfect for protecting your seats from the elements), but I do sweat a lot. Like I am a sweaty runner… full on looks like I peed my pants if I’m wearing the wrong color sweaty.

Since I have cloth seats, I do not like to sit my sweaty behind on it, because let’s be real… it can and will absorb odors. Having the towel as a barrier is an absolute game changer. But sure, you could just throw a regular beach towel on your seat and constantly readjust it as you’re driving because it’s falling down.

OR you could use the handy zipper on your Orange Mud Transition Towel to create a hood that goes perfectly over your headrest and doesn’t slip.

Just a thought though…Oh, and it’s super easy clean.

Just one more thing, you can also save 15% off your new towel using the code OMTRX (by the way… it’s valid for all Orange Mud products, not just the towel).

So tell me, are you tired of gross sweaty seats? Looking for random bathrooms to change in? Climbing into the backseat to change hoping nothing slips at the wrong time? If you answered yes to any of these, or even if you answered no, you should still get one because you never know when you may need it!
