Change is Gold

Disclaimer: I received an entry to the. DC Wonder Woman Run as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out to review find and write race reviews!

Fun fact, I initially started this post with the intended heading of “Change is Good” but, someway, somehow, I ended up with Change is Gold. And I liked it. Because Change is exactly that. Changing something from your normal, or back to your normal, can be a Golden opportunity for something amazing to happen.

So as I’m really just freelancing all of this, I’m thinking about what Golden changes can I make?

I mean, this is the great thing about blogging, it’s really just a space for me to write whatever I have circulating in head. Sure I do a lot of product/race reviews, and recaps. But when was the last time I did a free flowing session of just blogging about life.

Well, that’s what’s gonna happen today. But, you better believe it’s still about a #RunnerLife. So I opened up my phone to talk about how I’m breaking out from normal “race” tradition by doing a virtual run. But let me just say this, it’s not just any virtual, it’s the Wonder Woman Run.

If you know me, you know I love all things Wonder Woman. Not in an collector type of way, but more of a I love the message behind a strong, female, superhero.

When I first initially heard about this race series, I was sad to discover that it was only in the Cali area. With short notice, and the expense to travel for a max distance of a 10k. It just didn’t seem like I would be earning that beautiful medal.

However, life changes. And it provides you with a Golden Change. This one being a chance to run virtually and to get the medal that I need!!

Also, as usual, I have a coupon code for you if you would like to participate virtually or at a live event. The code WWBIBRAVE will save you 10% off any option!

In a nutshell, my golden change this week- running a virtual race to help with accountability, changing things up, and mentally using it to help me push the pace on a run.
